    Breksi Cliff

    Breksi Cliffs is one of the new tourism spots in Yogyakarta that successfully managed to attract people’s attention. It was officially inaugurated in 2015 by the Governor of Yogyakarta,Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, and touted as an official cultural heritage. Breksi Cliff is located in Sambirejo Village, just in the same area with Queen Boko Palace, Candi Banyunibo, Candi Ijo and for about 3 km away from Candi Prambanan.  This is in itself is significant to many of the local population, the north-south orientation between the palace and the volcano being of importance.


    Sand Dune at Parangkusumo

    There is indeed a desert in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. You must check it out when you visit Yogya. Parangkusumo Sand Dune is one of the world unique natures; it is caused by the volcanic mountain, but a desert in tropical country? We all know desert can be found in dry less rainfall country, but Indonesia has high density or rainfall throughout the year. Until today, researchers are still finding out the logic in its uniqueness. However, right now, we just want enjoy the nature. 

    Firstly, it has a great grandiose view. Obviously, you can take as much picture as you want. Secondly, it is the only destination in South-East Asia to have sandboarding area. Yep, you don’t have to travel far away for a sandboarding entertainment. It cost relatively from IDR 70,000 per person or IDR 200,000 for a group of six, included safety gears for duration of 2 hours. Excited? Don’t think too much and just go. The location of this Sand Dune is in Parangtritis Village between Parangtritis Beach and Depok Beach. 


    Sunrise at Borobudur

    It’s a classic destination in Yogyakarta, largest Buddhist temple and one of seven wonder of the world. It is the most famous destination and the most crowded tourist site. 

    Candi Borobudur is always captivating and never fails to awe people who visit it. It is highly recommended to come in midnight and wait until the sun rises. Astonishing and Majestic are the feelings you will experience.
